This climate change could have a huge impact on China by reducing crop yields and harming the significant environment, the country's top weather scientist warns. As the climate increases, so do China's issues. Zheng Guogang spoke to Xinhua news agency and told them that this climate change could be a serious threat to China's huge infrastructure projects. These new infrastructure projects are going to help China's society advance and bring a new light to their never-ending ideas towards the growth of a country. Guogang mentioned that China's temperature rises were way higher than global averages. China, which is the world's biggest polluter, said that its discharge of gases that are the main cause for climate change would peak in 2030. However, the country has not set a one target to decrease the discharging of gases, which would mainly be of carbon dioxide.  Mr. Zheng, the head of China's meteorological administration, mentioned that rising temperatures exposed his country to a huge risk of climate change and climate disasters. He mentioned that China's temperature had been way over the average for the past century. China's leaders have realized this huge issue, but have not gathered up the time or effort to fix these issues or set a plan to escape from this problem. Mr. Zheng went on to say that there would be more droughts, rainstorms and higher temperatures, which would threaten river flows. This would also stop some infrastructures such as the Three Gorges Dam. "To face the challenges from past and future climate change, we must respect nature and live in harmony with it"( Zheng).
